Accreditation Process

Our streamlined yet thorough process ensures that accreditation is a meaningful journey for every institution:

1. Application & Eligibility: Institutions must submit an initial application to verify that they meet the baseline criteria for evaluation.
2. Self-Study Report: The institution conducts a deep dive into its own operations, documenting how it meets GHEA UK’s four core domains.
3. Site Visit & Evaluation: GHEA UK Accreditation Commission team performs a comprehensive review (on-site or virtual) to observe academic delivery and governance firsthand.
4. Commission Review: GHEA UK Accreditation Commission reviews and evaluates the findings.
5. Award of Accreditation: Successful institutions are granted a Certificate of Accreditation Approval, typically valid for a period of five years.

Accreditation Fees & Tiers

To ensure accessibility for a wide range of educational providers from specialized language schools to large universities, Global Higher Education Association UK offers a tiered fee structure. Our goal is to maintain the highest standards of quality assurance while supporting institutional growth.

Institutional Tiers

Fees are calculated based on the institution’s size, scope, and the number of students served.

All fees are quoted in GBP and are non-refundable.

• Initial Application Fee: Covers the preliminary eligibility review and administrative processing.
• Self-Study Review Fee: Covers the detailed assessment of the institution’s internal quality report by GHEA UK Accreditation Commission.
• On-Site / Virtual Evaluation Visit: Includes the daily rate for GHEA UK evaluation team (travel and accommodation for on-site visits are billed separately).
• Annual Maintenance Fee: Ensures the continued validity of the Accreditation Approval Certificate and access to GHEA UK international network.
